    Fish & Chips: Easy to make but difficult to master. Milton Fish and Chips has it mastered.

    It's not just about quality fish (which Milton f&c has) and it's not just about quality potatoes and oil either (again Milton f&c has it covered). It's about some magical combination of all of those things with the perfect oil temperature, and perfect cooking time.

    You know that deep fried fish that will soak through the serving paper so bad that you could wring it out? They don't serve that here. The only way to describe it is perfect.

    The place itself is simple but very very clean. I only deduct one star for their sparse menu, no fresh lemons, and prepackaged tartar sauce.

    If you need a textbook definition of good fish and chips, this is the place.

    Best fish and chips I ever had. I would actually visit Milton just for this place. We had Halibut and Haddock and they were both very impressive. I liked Halibut over Haddock because of the tenderness. The amount of batter and seasoning was perfect. I was never a big fan of fish and chips but this place changed me. Home made coleslaw was also great and helped with the greenness of deep fried fish and chips. The decoration is next to none and menu is on the printed paper but I thought it adds to the uniqueness of this place. Highly recommend trying out this place. They did tell me that they have a really long line up on Good Friday.

    This is by far my favourite Fish and Chip place in Milton! Owner(s) are very friendly and the fish and chips have never disappointed.  Never overly greasy, always crispy and cooked perfectly.  Have eaten in and taken out many times.  For eat in it is very basic and sparse but remember it is a "take-out" restaurant so the seating is appropriate for that.

    I like this place - Fish and chips are not bad, so that makes me an occasional consumer.
    Owner is very welcoming and appreciates your business. As for atmosphere...nothing to write home about

    Decent chip, too much batter on small pieces of fish, packaged
    ckaged tartar and no lemons.. I'm disappointed.
